It will cover StageMix, SB168-ES applications, I/O, patching, administrative functions, how to utilize and set-up scenes, dynamics, EQ, FX, sends on fader and many more fundamental M7CL features.

Attendees will learn the fundamental features of the LS9 series of consoles including StageMix, SB168-ES applications, I/O, patching, MY-card slot utilization, dynamics, EQ, onboard recording/playback features, scenes, administrative functions, FX and much more.

This hands-on workshop is an abbreviated version of the very popular Yamaha Commercial Audio Training Seminars PM5D Scene Management & Expansion Workshop. Attendees will receive instruction beyond the basic hardware and software overview including managing scene data, loading user files, basic & advanced modes, virtual soundcheck, and much more.

This panel of seasoned road veterans will discuss what it takes to get a show loaded-in, tested and sound-checked, all the way through the final performance along with why they prefer Yamaha as their console of choice.

The highly acclaimed Dan Dugan will give a brief history of automatic mic mixing, discuss applications of the Dugan Music System & the Dugan Speech System as well as demonstrate the use of the Dugan-MY16 card. He will also preview upcoming developments & offer a Q & A session.

Building a mix quickly can be critical in this business. In this hands-on workshop, attendees will practice their mixing skills using multi-track playback and have the opportunity to be critiqued on their approach to accomplishing their desired mix.

Martina McBride's long-time Monitor Engineer, Robert Bull, will discuss the importance of working closely with the FOH engineer to get things in phase and accomplish the perfect mix as a team. He will also discuss mixing in-ear monitors.

Seasoned FOH Engineer, Monty Lee Wilkes, who has mixed pop icons such as Prince, Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez will discuss life at front of house and demo his favorite tips, tricks and features.

This class will provide the best practices and training for console maintenance pertaining to the PM5D, M7CL and LS9 digital mixing consoles. More specifically it will cover: testing/diagnostic procedures, disassembly, fader replacement and what to do in the case of water exposure or other liquid spills into the unit. A brief Q & A session will follow.

This course will cover the various recording options available for the LS9, M7CL, and PM5D series consoles. In addition, attendees will learn how to configure Nuendo for recording and how to export audio files in different formats.

Using previously recorded live tracks, students will learn how to set up and build a basic mix. The art and science of EQ and compression will be discussed and applied in the hands-on lab after the lecture. This course will be geared towards Houses of Worship with specific application relevance and terms used.

This informative course will cover the advantages of DSP control in an audio system, and focus on the flexibility of our DME Processor Series to control other equipment, or be controlled by other controllers simply. The detailed customization options for the product line will also be explored.

During this course, attendees will design a practical DSP control system for a medium sized installation. The project will focus on the matrixing, automixing, speaker processing capabilities, and remote control functions of the DME processors.

This course will cover Ethersound topologies, device control and management, tunneling, network combining, offline editing and recording with the ASIO Streamer.

This course will cover the Dante Virtual Soundcard (DVS) and the Dante controller software. We will explain how Dante can be used to distribute audio between multiple consoles using direct output, and demonstrate recording using the DVS and Nuendo 5. This course will be taught by an Audinate Representative.

With the advent of digital networking, determining the correct format for your application can be a daunting task. An overview of 4 networking options compatible with Yamaha will be given by the manufacturers (Audinate, Aviom, Optocore, and Riedel) to demonstrate the unique qualities that each has to offer. A Q&A session will follow each demonstration.

This panel discussion will feature representatives from Audinate (Dante), Aviom (A-Net), Optocore, and Riedel (RockNet) discussing the current and future trends in digital audio networking.

This demo will take attendees through the Amp Editor software, and the control and monitoring of the TXn Amplifier, as well as the ACD1 amp controller for Tn, PC, and X-series amplifiers. We will cover connections and customization of the user interface, as well as control and monitoring setup.

An overview and listening demo of the entire NEXO GEO family of line arrays and subwoofers. We'll be featuring a live band on an indoor stage playing in multiple styles for the critical listener. Speakers will be powered and networked with NXAMP. We will also feature the new 45N-12 monitor with live on stage demos.
